THE
SLOPE PINS attach under either end of Checkpoint
Mag Base’s or 3D DMS Professional Level as indicated
on the base sides and are held in place by the neodymium
magnets centered on the flat side. They give exact
slopes or grades with no calculation depending on
your choice of slope pin size. For example, simply
place a 1/4” slope pin at the front or rear location
of the Stubby or Magnum base, and the 880 will project
an exact 1/4” per foot rise or fall depending on
the location of the pin (+ or -). Slope Pins are
sold either individually or in sets of seven pieces,
and come in 1/16” increments (starting with 1/8”
slope). Again, each will work with Stubby and Magnum
Bases and the 3D DMS Series Professional Level.
Slope pins are sold in a set of 7 pieces with case
and lanyard in 1/16” increments. The sizes are as
follows:
American (#1301): 1/8”, 3/16”, 1/4”, 5/16”, 3/8”,
7/16”, 1/2"
Metric (#1304): 10mm, 20mm, 30mm, 40mm
